The Zebra team have just finished a project for a local client, manufacturing and installing graphic panels and window manifestations for the Derby Universities, South Tower Staff Lounge. Our Client, Elite Commercial Interiors, who specialise in commercial and business interiors, carried out the complete refit from floor to ceiling.
The photos below were taken towards the end of the fit out, completed photos will be posted shortly
The individual wall panels were created form clear acrylic with reverse applied digitally printed images and are spaced off the wall using aluminium spacer fixings.
The glass manifestations were achieved by reverse printing the colour image onto clear vinyl and then backing up with a face print, giving a solid gradiated colour sweep

British Study Centres School of English - Bournmouth
A recent project for The British Study Centres School of English, found our installation crew down in sunny Bournemouth, to install an internally illuminated projecting sign, entrance sign and internal graphic panels for the British Study Centres School of English.
The large internal wall mounted graphic panel, 2200mm x 1850mm, was digitally printed, matt laminated and applied to a 10mm solid back panel and wrapped around the edges to provide some depth rather than directly applied to the wall.

Armed Forces - VW Tanks!
The Zebra team have a very long standing relationship with the Armed forces, providing, over the years, re fits to the recruitment branches, signage to barracks, advertising campaign banners, flags, illuminated photographic display cases and vehicle graphics, to name but a few.
We have recently produced and applied vehicle wrap graphics to a fleet of five VW Sharan vehicles. The design, to make the car appear like a tank from a side profile, fits in very well with the contours of the car. The image to the main body work is printed on to a premium grade vehicle vinyl and then over laminated with a matt finish. The graphics to the windows are printed on contravision to allow the occupants vision out, but difficult for passers by to see inside.
The purpose of each vehicle is to act as a mobile recruitment office that can be sited in any town or area that its required. The fleet of vehicles are a proud addition to the Army's recruitment team.

Coral Betting
Zebra are currently in the development stage of three Coral Betting shops, manufacturing and installing internally illuminated fascia and projecting signs. Coral are one of many high street names that are converting to illuminating their fascia signage via LED's as opposed to fluorescent lighting. The savings over a fairly short period of time, far out way the initial spend and help towards reducing their carbon footprint, in turn helping to make a greener high street.
In certain cases using a specified LED unit in compliance to the government's Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme in relation to White Light Emitting Diodes in signage, our clients can qualify to claim tax relief on their investment in the product and this can include transportation to site and some of the direct costs of installation. Clarity on the eligibility of direct costs is available from HMRC.
We recently provided and fitted a large format digitally printed banner for one of Corals developments in Huddersfield. Zebra can normally turn these type of banners around within two-four days, fully digitally printed, hemmed and eyelets, ready for dispatch or install.

EThames Graduate School - Canary Wharf - Internal Graphics
Following on from the successful manufacture and installation of the external signs, Lacayo Wolfe invited us back to Ethames to provide large format wall graphics and door room signs for the internal refurbishment phase of the project.
The lettering colour needed to be very specific matches to pantone colours and was achieved by digitally printing the top colour and drop shadow at the same time and then profile cutting around the total shape of the letters, the cutting had to be very accurate and this was made all the more easy with our newly installed large format print and cut machine.
As you can see, the overall effect is very eye catching!
We also provided door signage to all four floors of the building with bespoke printed inserts for the various room names, digitally printed in a grey/silver finish.

EThames Graduate School - Canary Wharf
Lacayo Wolfe Design Consultants, based in central London, have a long history with the team at Zebra. When external signage was required for a major refurbishment project at the EThames Graduate School, Canary Wharf, Zebra Signs were "the people for the job"
An upmarket quality feel was required for the signage and brushed stainless steel was decided on. A two meter tall monolith sign was created for the main entrance, manufactured by our local group metal & acrylic fabrications company, and the lettering was screen printed on to the surface to provide a durable finish. Further smaller signage, manufactured the same way, were installed around the building.

Market Harborough Building Society - Rebrand
On the strength of our teams previous experience and success with the re-branding of the Derbyshire Building Society over the last few years, Zebra Signs were awarded the contract to replace the existing and dated signage to The Market Harborough Building Society's branches. From the new fresh and simple design, provided by The Message in Derby, our team surveyed, quoted and provided scale drawings for the company to put into planning. After numerous revisions due to stringent planning conditions, the final layouts were agreed and the new signage was manufactured and the fit out finally began.
